10+2 TECHNICAL ENTRY SCHEME (10+2 TES) ARMY
Technical Entry Scheme, Indian Army 10+2 TES Entry is for 10+2 pass candidates to join the Indian Army as officers. Through this entry male Candidates who have passed 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry and mathematics subjects, for the grant of Permanent Commission in the Army, as Engineers.
10+2 B.TECH CADET ENTRY SCHEME (NAVY)
Indian Navy offers admissions for B.Tech under the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme. The selected candidates through SSB Interview will be enrolled in Indian Naval Academy, Ezhimala - Kerala. Aspiring candidates must have a valid score in JEE Main 2020, and the shortlisting of candidates will be based on the All-India Rank of JEE Main published by the National Testing Agency (NTA). The four-year B.Tech degree will be awarded by JNU (Jawaharlal Nehru University) upon the successful completion of the course. Further, the candidates will be enrolled in various technical posts under the Indian Navy.
TECHNICAL GRADUATE COURSE (ENGINEERS) ARMY
TGC entry also known as Technical Graduate Course Entry is a type of entry through which an engineering graduate(only male) can join the Indian Army as an officer. TGC entry is specific for engineering students who can apply for it from the final year onward. This entry provides permanent commission into the Indian army
AIR FORCE COMMON ADMISSION TEST (AFCAT)
The Air Force Common Admission Test (AFCAT) is conducted by the Indian Air Force. The exam is held twice a year to select Class-I Gazetted Officers in Flying and Ground Duties (Technical and Non-Technical).
AFCAT is a gateway for both male and female candidates who wish to join the Indian Air Force for both Short Service Commission in Flying Branch and Permanent Commission/Short Service Commission in Ground Duties for both Technical and Non-Technical roles.
ACC ENTRY
The Army Cadet College Wing is known for training soldiers from the Regular Army, Navy, and Air Force for commission as an officer in the Indian Army. The eligible Other Ranks (OR) in the age group of 20-27 years and minimum two years of service, having 10+2 pass qualification can apply for Regular Commission. After qualifying in the written examination conducted by the Military Training Directorate, the aspirants are screened by SSB and the Medical Board. Successful candidates are trained at Army Cadet College Wing, Dehradun, for three years at the end of which they get a graduation degree. This is followed by one-year pre-commission training at IMA, Dehradun
PC(SL) - PERMANENT COMMISSION SPECIAL LIST
Under this entry, JCOs/ NCOs/ OR up to 42 years of age and minimum of 10 years of service, with a Senior Schools Certificate Pass (Class 10+2 pattern) qualification are eligible for commission after screening by SSB and Medical Board. They are granted PC (SL) after successful completion of four weeks of orientation training at the IMA.
SCO ENTRY (Special commissioned officer entry)
This is another entry for NCOs to join as officers in the Indian army. The applications are forwarded by AGs branch and you are called for SSB. After clearing SSB you will be called for Medicals. Once declared medically fit by the medical boards you will be called up for joining AEC centre and college, Pachmarhi. After 8 weeks of compulsory training at AEC one goes through 1 year at OTA (Officers training academy, Gaya) After successful completion of 1 year at OTA, the Gentleman cadet passes out as lieutenant.
INDIAN COAST GUARD (ALL ENTRIES)

The Indian Coast Guard is a multi-mission organization, conducting round-the-year real-life operations at sea. Despite being relatively small, it has a wide range of task capabilities for both surface and air operations. The organization is headed by the Director General Indian Coast Guard (DGICG) exercising his overall command and superintendence from the Coast Guard Headquarters (CGHQ) located at New Delhi.
TERRITORIAL ARMY (CIVILIAN)
TA offers gainfully employed young citizens an opportunity of donning the uniform and serving the nation as Territorial Army Officers (Non Departmental), based on the concept of enabling motivated young citizens to serve in a military environment without having to sacrifice their primary professions. You can serve the nation in two capacities– as a civilian and as a soldier. No other option allows you such an expanse of experiences
TERRITORIAL ARMY (EX-SERVICEMEN)
Territorial army offers the Ex servicemen of the country with gainful employment a chance to service the country again in a different capacity as part of TA. the Ex servicemen have an advantage as they can appear for TA selection twice a year as against their civilian counterpart.
BSc (NURSING) COURSE (WOMEN ONLY)
Indian Army BSc Nursing is a national level entrance exam that facilitates admission into four year BSc nursing course. The exam will be conducted by the DGMS or the Directorate General of Medical Services (Indian Army) and only female candidates will be allowed to apply. The female candidates will appear to compete for 220 seats in total across India and the selection will be made strictly on the basis of their performance in the written examination followed by the personal interview.
SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION IN RVC
The Remount and Veterinary Corps is an administrative and operational branch of the Indian Army, and one of its oldest formations. It is responsible for breeding, rearing and training of all animals used in the army. Qualified male veterinary graduates can apply for Short Service Commission (SSC) in Remount Veterinary Corps of Indian Army.
ARMED FORCES MEDICAL COLLEGE (MBBS)
AFMC Entrance exam is conducted to offer admission for the MBBS course in Armed Forces Medical College, Pune. Candidates desirous of getting MBBS admission in this institute must apply for the AFMC MBBS examination by registering online. The total number of MBBS seats available at this institute is 130, of which 25 seats reserved for girls and 105 for boys. At the end of the graduation, it provides both permanent as well as short service commission to the students into the Indian army
SHORT SERVICE COMMISSION INTO ARMED FORCES MEDICAL SERVICES
Online applications are invited from Indian citizens both male and female, who have passed their final MBBS examination in first or second attempt only, for grant of Short Service Commission in the Armed Forces Medical Services. Applicants who have taken more than two chances in final Prof MBBS (Part I & II) Examination are ineligible and hence need not apply for the same. These candidates are granted only short service comission into the armed forces medical services
CAPF ASSISTANT COMMANDANT (UPSC)
CAPF is a competitive exam conducted by the Union Public Service Commission to recruit the candidates in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPF). The candidates recruited through this exam, join the forces as Assistant Commandant (AC). The following forces recruit the candidates through this exam.

NATIONAL DEFENCE ACADEMY (NDA) AND NAVAL ACADEMY (NA)
The NDA exam is conducted by UPSC for admission to the Army, Navy and Air Force wings of the NDA. This exam is a gateway for candidates looking forward to joining Defence Forces including Army, Navy and Air Force. This is a national level exam conducted twice a year: NDA I and NDA II to help candidates make a career in Defence services. National Defence Academy & Naval Academy (NDA & NA) Examination will be a two-step process where candidates first need to take the exam and then qualify the personality test or interview conducted by the Service Selection Board (SSB). The UPSC is solely responsible for issuing guidelines for selection and the final conduct of the entrance examination.
